John Josephs, a long time player, team manager and club stalwart has had his share of health problems of late and the club has decided to pitch in to help with his ongoing medical expenses. To this end, a charity auction of the first grade jerseys will take place following presentations, after the Roos do battle against the Bathurst Bulldogs on Saturday 5th July in Dubbo.

The jerseys will be original style of sky blue and red and the full set will be auctioned.

A huge day is programmed for No. 1 Oval on the 5th, as well as being Sponsors Day, a reunion of past players from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s will be taking place and a big crowd is expected.

On Saturday 14th June the Dubbo Roos have an away game against the Mudgee Wombats. To support the players, the Social Committee have arranged a bus trip for the ladies who plan on visiting a few wineries before lunching at the Blue Wren winery and restaurant. After that it's onto the oval to watch 1st grade do battle. If you think this sounds like a great way to spend a lazy Saturday and you’re up for a bit of fun, come and join us.

Tickets will be available from Church St Cafe, $20.00 for Social Members and $30.00 for non members. This charge only covers the cost of the bus trip. It is planned to leave Church St on Saturday morning at 8.30am.
